Customer discussion: 16 October 2026. Three alternatives are shown independently. This revision develops the mechanical representation, proposed storage around the I/O port and operator workflow. Existing quotations and commercial scope remain unchanged.
Design development, not released for manufacture. The drawings and STEP assemblies show geometry and connections for review. Structural calculations, verified loads, vendor interfaces, tolerances, safeguards and the L3 installation survey are still required. Detailed geometry does not establish load capacity or certification.
| Concept | Base rack L x W x H, mm | Tray, mm | Base working | Opposite | Overhead | Proposed total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A Toolroom | 10000 x 3200 x 5000 | 1200 x 800 | 160 | 16 | 9 | 185 |
| B Door panels | 9000 x 4600 x 5000 | 2600 x 1100 | 64 | 12 | 7 | 83 |
| C Metro trolley | 7600 x 3400 x 5000 | 1200 x 800 | 100 | 10 | 5 | 115 |
B retains 8 reserved positions in its original 72-position rack. New storage uses a separate end bay. Access extensions, guards, maintenance areas and cart circulation are additional to the base rack footprint. A catch canopy sits below overhead storage; its structural rating remains unissued. A sliding guard avoids lifting into the added shelves.
| Concept | Loaded tray basis | Transfer basis | Top stored load | Highest load during lift |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | 100 kg tooling + 25 kg tray | 150 kg | 4530 mm | 4540 mm |
| B | 50 kg panel + 35 kg tray | 100 kg | 4530 mm | 4570 mm |
| C | 25 kg per loaded tray (assumption) | Vendor sizing required | 4200 mm | 4240 mm |
Structure height is 5000 mm. The nominal room height of 5500 mm is an assumption, not a surveyed beam soffit. Allow for services, fire protection, maintenance and the actual crane supplier envelope. Tooling envelope is 1100 x 700 x 180 mm; panel envelope is 2500 x 1000 x 240 mm provisionally. Customer approval of horizontal panel storage is outstanding.
Full inventory mass before rack and crane: A 23,125 kg, B 7,055 kg, C 2,875 kg at the stated load assumptions. These are structural load inputs, not slab approval. Check point reactions, anchor forces and dynamic cases.
Use Class 10,000 / 10K / ISO Class 7. Do not label the requirement “ISO 10000”. The current MiR250 specification lists an optional ISO Class 4 configuration. Confirm that exact option and its test scope. It does not qualify the custom trolley, top module, rack, lubricants, handling process or installed system. Review particle generation, cleanable surfaces, airflow, sealed bearings and bonding. Anodized aluminum alone does not establish ESD continuity.
The app starts a visible demonstration when supported, except when the browser requests reduced motion. Play, pause, next step, reset, speed, top/side/interface views and manual camera orbit are available. A/B/C dimensions remain editable independently. Invalid tray, pitch or machine dimensions block the demo. Layout warnings do not constitute a site clearance approval.
HMI is local demonstration data. Select a job, verify IDs, reserve, Start, monitor and commit handover. Completion stays disabled until simulated transfer completion. An interlock loss holds motion and retains the reservation. Acknowledge alone never restarts. A repeated completion does not update inventory again. Active jobs lock dimensional and concept changes. Actual WMS, SAP, PLC and MiR connections require a separately implemented integration.
ERP/SAP owns business demand; WMS owns inventory/reservations; WCS coordinates crane, dock and fleet; the safety PLC independently owns motion permission. Messages need job ID, transaction ID, tray/cart/level IDs, source, destination, timestamps and state. Reconcile an uncertain physical transfer before retrying an inventory change.
Every proposed working position is sampled for pickup and withdrawal. Checks include the tray deck, maximum payload, forks and core carriage/mast envelopes against rack posts, loaded neighbours and detailed structural boxes. The complete illustrated transfer, camera-origin clearance and straight cart movements are sampled. Additional detailed trolley checks cover caster/profile/receiver envelopes and guards. These are sampled geometric checks, not continuous collision proof or safety certification. Flexible cables, full OEM linkage sweeps, stopping distances, turning paths, tolerances and structural deflection require final CAD and commissioning evidence.
Website source builds and HMI state transitions are checked. This environment does not provide the required browser QA surface, so browser-level interaction and frame-rate verification remain unperformed. Videos use synthetic English female narration generated locally. Video decoding and audio levels are checked; human listening QA is not available here.
